The Center for Teaching & Learning of the University of Patras supports learning by providing advice and tools to students on how to approach and organize the learning process, how to develop effective learning techniques and achieve learning outcomes, as well as on how to deal with learning difficulties, following international practices of University Pedagogy. More specifically it:

- provides support, guidance and reinforcement for studying and academic writing

- focuses on developing modern skills

- promotes the inclusive approach

- invests in the design and creation of teaching resources and materials

- encourages the creation of study groups

- emphasizes the importance of learning strategies

- emphasizes the assessment of students' learning needs (through the creation and provision of relevant research tools)

- focuses on adapting the teaching material to the learning style and needs of the students

- looks for effective ways of evaluating and giving feedback to students
